FAQ's
Can I reorder one pigment from the kit?
Yes! You may order individual paramedical pigments here: RealTint® Paramedical Pigment
How do I calibrate my spectrometer?
Calibrate white first. Flip the cap to expose the white color chip. Align the spectrometer lens to the white chip and capture. Then, calibrate black. Remove the cap, then capture with the lens down facing approximately 1 meter from the floor. For an illustrated diagram of how to calibrate your machine, please download the app and follow the instructions.
How do I create a custom color using my kit?
First, capture the color of the client’s skin using RealTint® IRIS. Then, follow the instructions on your app to mix your captured color. Swatch the color on your client’s skin—make sure to apply a thin layer. Use your quick reference sheet to adjust your color to create a seamless match. The best way to create a perfect color match is to use both your eyes and your machine.
