Hyper Real Academy was founded by Anna Sun, a former master surgeon and cosmetic tattoo artist with more than 28 years of experience in the tattoo industry.
Anna is the creator of RealTint®, an innovative line of permanent makeup machines, pigments, and accessories developed to elevate modern PMU artistry.

Kelly Bu is a PMU instructor with six years of industry experience and a background in professional editorial makeup artistry, with work featured in major magazines. Her command of both male and female makeup techniques made her a sought after artist for fashion, television, and film throughout her makeup career.
Her foundation in makeup artistry is a defining part of her success in permanent makeup, giving her the eye, restraint, and design sensibility that elevate a good tattoo artist into a true PMU master. Through her connections across the beauty industry, she has built partnerships with prestige brands that give PMU trainees greater access to professional products at better prices than ever before.

KahMung Chua (CK) has 6 years of PMU experience. She has been with us at Hyper Real Academy® since 2021. She mastered her craft under the guidance of Anna, and is now ready to mentor the next generation of PMU talent.
