Meet The Team

Yahong (Anna) Sun is a former maxillofacial surgeon and current master PMU artist. She is the founder of Hyper Real Academy® and RealTint® PMU technology. She has 28 years of cosmetic and paramedical tattooing experience. Anna worked with over 1,000 happy clients, and provided AAM board certification training for over 300 students. Her extensive knowledge and experience is matched by her passion as a mentor to the future generation of artists. 

Anna is a Platinum-certified AAM trainer (2019).

Kelly Bu is a former editorial makeup artist with experience working with major magazines, TV and film, and celebrity clients. She is the co-founder of Hyper Real Academy®. Her deep understanding of the transformative nature of makeup is the secret to her success as a PMU artist. Her specialization is eyebrow design, mapping, and corrective techniques for male and female faces. 

Kelly is a Platinum-certified AAM trainer (2024).

Angela Liu is a beloved member of the Hyper Real Academy® team and prominent member of the PMU community. She is an award-winning artist with 8 years of experience, over 500 happy clients, and over 100 students mentored during her time as an assistant trainer. 

Angela is a Gold-certified AAM artist (2020).

KahMung Chua (CK) has 6 years of PMU experience. She has been with us at Hyper Real Academy® since 2021. She mastered her craft under the guidance of Anna, and is now ready to mentor the next generation of PMU talent. 

CK is a Platinum-certified AAM trainer (2026). 

Nikita Garagulya is Hyper Real Academy®’s Chief Technical Officer, overseeing the technical aspects and online presence of the firm. With a background in finance and software engineering, he runs the technical aspects of the business, including this website, ads, and social media presence.

He shares his knowledge of business, finance, marketing, and small business management with our students and graduates.
