At Hyper Real Academy, we will work with you to create your own signature eyeliner design. Our skilled technicians will create a custom eyeliner design that suits your facial features, personal style, and aesthetic goals. Permanent Eyeliner styles range from natural to bold, and we can layer multiple tones for a gradient or smoky effect. Enjoy professionally designed styles—such as Eyelash Enhancement, Winged Eyeliner, Stardust Eyeliner, and more—without ever needing to pick up an eyeliner pen.
Using a machine, PMU pigment is carefully implanted into the skin along the lash line to create a smooth, clean finish. Our RealTint® machines minimize irritation and swelling, making them idea for all skin types, including sensitive, oily, and mature skin.
For clients with sparse lashes or difficulty applying makeup daily, this procedure offers the look of definition and enhanced lash line volume with no makeup skills needed. Permanent Eyeliner offers the convenience of looking polished with no smudging, no reapplication, and no fuss.
RealTint® Permanent Eyeliner does not require a 4-6 weeks touch up. Thanks to our RealTint® pigments, results will last for up to 2 years.

FAQ's
Is Permanent Eyeliner a tattoo?
Yes, Permanent Eyeliner and all permanent makeup (PMU) procedures are considered to be cosmetic tattoos.
Can Permanent Eyeliner be applied to the waterline for a “tight-line” effect?
No. It is prohibited by most states and state-approved PMU regulatory agencies (including the SPCP and AAM) to tattoo over the upper or lower waterline. Artists are strictly forbidden to tattoo these areas in favor of maintaining safety standards for a low-risk procedure.
Can Permanent Eyeliner help to correct asymmetry?
It depends. Eyelid asymmetry is very common, and will appear more prominent with age. For eyelids with asymmetry present, it is usually best to proceed with a Lash Line Enhancement using a feathered edge.
Should I get Permanent Eyeliner before or after Botox?
We recommend getting PMU done after fillers and Botox. Please consult your injector for the exact timeline of when your treatment results will fully settle, and schedule your PMU procedure afterward.
I have oily skin. Can I get Permanent Eyeliner?
Yes. Permanent Eyeliner can be done with great success on clients with oily skin. However, oily skin will cause the tattoo to fade faster than normal to dry skin. Please keep in mind that you may need a touch up appointment before the 2 year mark.
What are the risks of getting Permanent Eyeliner?
Permanent Eyeliner is a tattoo procedure with a low risk of skin infection. Permanent Eyeliner is not done in the upper or lower waterline, minimizing contact with the eye and sensitive skin surrounding the eye. We minimize all risks associated with tattooing by investing in advanced technology and learning the best modern PMU techniques for skin safety. Follow your aftercare instructions to further minimize any risks of infection.
How painful is Permanent Eyeliner?
All clients may experience discomfort differently. Permanent Eyeliner is done under a topical anesthetic to reduce pain and discomfort. This procedure is often considered the least painful procedure between Brows, Eyeliner, and Lip Blush procedures.
Do I have to get a 4-6 week touch up?
Very rarely. Thanks to the advanced technology of our RealTint® machines, most PMU Eyeliner and Lip Blush clients at Hyper Real Academy do not require (and are not advised to schedule) a 4–6 week touch-up.
How long is the healing process?
Permanent Eyeliner is expected to fully heal in 4-6 weeks.
What are the aftercare instructions for Permanent Eyeliner?
Wear sunglasses often, even during short periods of light exposure, to minimize UV damage and excess sensitivity during healing. We recommend using antimicrobial foam for the first week of healing, avoiding bar soaps and any exfoliating products. How long does Permanent Eyeliner last?
Permanent Eyeliner is expected to last for over 2 years before a further touch up is recommended. Clients with oily skin may experience faster fading than clients with normal to dry skin.
Do I have to get my Permanent Eyeliner touched up after 2 years?
No. Clients are encouraged to only book a touch up procedure after the tattoo has faded by 30%. If you are unsure about scheduling a touch up appointment, email or DM us a photo of your Permanent Eyeliner, and we’ll let you know the best way to proceed.
